Prospect Hill Plantation Inn

Named one of 2015's "Top 10 Most Romantic Inns" in America by, Prospect Hill is the oldest continually-occupied frame-house plantation in Virginia. Once a working wheat plantation (circa 1732) now lovingly transformed into an upscale country inn... Prospect Hill specializes in romantic escapes, secluded getaways, and award-winning fine dining... all just minutes from historic Charlottesville. Our original cottages (circa 1699 - 1880, including several slave quarters) offer an unique plantation experience, albeit with modern amenities (including working fireplaces and full breakfast-in-bed). Nestled on 40 acres of stunning grounds, the magic of this relaxing plantation inn invites you to linger, to pause, and to slow your pace to that of another era. Children and dogs are welcome in specified cottages!
